Good Morning!!!
Ahhh, it's officially the weekend and I couldn't be any happier! I'm looking forward to some rest and relaxation before getting back into the swing of things. I want to remind you to check out the Jazzy Inspirations blog and play along with us. You could be the next Jazz Cat of the week!!!!
I guess you're wondering about the title??? Well, I want what's in her hand just a bit fruitier please! I need to relax and she looks like she's having quite a time!!!!! Not an alcoholic by any means but once every couple of months or so DH & I go out to dinner by ourselves and I have my Pina Colada....I'm feeling the *need* for that right now!
Anywhoo, have you ever received a card in a swap and loved the image but not the rest of it? That's how I felt about Ms. Drinker above.....the *actual* card didn't appeal to me so I recycled the image to go with something else that I had created. I touched up her coloring just a bit, attempted to add some color to the stark white background and called it a day. She'll be brightening someone's mailbox soon and I hope she brings a smile to their day!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate your visits especially when I'm showing something that's not *brand new* Enjoy the rest of your Saturday! I'm going to check out a couple of challenges in hopes of sparking my interest so I can make something new for you all to enjoy......wish me luck!!!
TTFN,
Hugs,
I hope you get to have your Pina Colada real soon. Have an extra one for me!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Like the colors and how you recycled. Great job!
Have a wonderful day - even thou' the frigid cold is back for us this week! Great time to stay indoors & craft.
Fabulous revamp job! I just love the bella's! Looks like we're in for a chilly weekend...stamp to stay warm! (wink!)
ReplyDeleteLove it Jackie! That's a great idea for some swap cards. Hope you get your Pina Colada soon!
ReplyDeletePerfect! Love everything about this! YUM!
ReplyDeleteJackie, I love your card! And I sure could use a PC this evening as well. :)
ReplyDeleteI recycle too ;) great job!
ReplyDeleteVery modern and cool card! You did so well presenting this young woman.
ReplyDeleteIt's been one of those weeks for me, no stamping time at all, just run, run, run! You would think at my age things would be quieter, guess not now, between grandkids schedules with dd's and dsil's work needing me to do the pick-ups and a sick dh, no time to do anything at home!
Hope you have a quiet weekend, Jackie and get to go out with your dh for one of those relaxing drinks.
Hugs!
What a fun card...great colors too!
ReplyDeleteGreat recycling job. I love the heart dp paper.
ReplyDeleteI can relate Jackie, I'd love to sip a daiquiri while munching on some mexican food with my husband...ah to unwind...I hope you get the chance to do just that! Enjoy. Lovely card!!
ReplyDeletesmiles,Deena
love it!
ReplyDeletegreat as always ;)
im jealous ;)
That is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI could use a pina colada right now as well. Hmm...delish! Very chic card! That Bella is on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. For my drink this would be a glass of water with a lemon in it. I'm not a drinker. Water is the only beverage I imbibe in.
ReplyDeleteI like that you recycled the image. I have done this. I got a card in a swap and I loved the image but the rest was so so. I cropped out the image and made my own card out of it.
Such a cute card! I don't drink but I can totally relate to needing to un-wind. Hopefully you will find some time to do something nice for yourself like a mani/pedi or a massage!
ReplyDeleteJackie you know you don't need any luck. Your work is fabulous and you find inspiration in places I never would. Hope you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCute card! I love the heart background paper and the ric rac.
ReplyDeleteI love this card, Jackie! It's so soft!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your drink. The card turned out great.
