I needed a baby card for my friend Lenore in California.  She recently had a baby girl & in true late fashion; my card is just now getting to her!!  In my own defense; I think I stink at making baby cards so this week's shop was a huge help for me!  I used the colors from the above posted picture, a bit of imagination  and just a tad bit of casing to pull this together for her so I sincerely hope that she likes it!  Please be sure and check out the rest of the Design Teams' work & leave them some love:

While *strolling* through the shop; I saw the blue necklace pictured above and immediately thought about the cards that I made for my son the other day!  The swirls reminded me of the texture from that petals embossing folder and of course I HAD to use my fave shade of blue---Night of Navy to pull it all together!  I think of this card as a *step up* compared to Reggie's cards & I'm pretty happy with the way it came out!  I hope you enjoy it & the rest of the Design Team's samples:

Reginald's Christmas Cards

Happy Thursday Everyone!
I have had one heck of a week but I've been busy as you can see!!  I changed my mind about my son's Holiday cards for his newspaper route---I needed to simplify things a bit but I do believe these came out GREAT!  I used 4 different colors & made 10 of each....Real Red, Soft Suede, Night of Navy & Old Olive.  I had to use my Big Shot to add some texture & I also decorated the inside a bit.....sorry but I couldn't get a very good shot of that!  These will be delivered this Saturday with his weekend papers---I'll be at work but I've given him specific instructions on how to place them in the bag with the papers.....I know; I'm being a bit overbearing but I want them to FIND the cards on top not buried underneath LOL!!!

This past week has given me some perspective about being able to post on my blog daily like I want.  It's really  busy at work & my weekends are now tied up with me being there since some of the other girls can finally take time off now that I'm a part of their team.  I'm not working today which is why I'm finally able to post something for you.  I don't have another day off until next Monday which is not really a day off because I'll be hosting my Customer Appreciation/Christmas Gift class that evening for my wonderful clients that have supported me this year.  Geez, I could go crazy trying to figure everything out!!!  Don't worry, I'm not abandoning my blog or anything like that!  If you don't see a new post for a couple of days just know that LIFE is truly hectic right now but I'm still here and will post as soon as I get a chance!!!!

With that being said, my next post will be on Saturday for the Etsy challenge & I hope to have something to share by Tuesday of next week.  I'll give myself an extra day just in case I get called in to fill in for someone!!  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!!

I hope you've all had a great week.....mine has been kind of hectic which is why I'm sharing someone else's work for you to admire today.  This beauty made by Nancy Brundidge was posted on the SU! site & it immediately caught my eye!!  Spotlighting is one of my fave techniques to do & I thought her card really captured it with those adorable snowmen.  I love her design & how she colored this image.....too CUTE!!

In other news.....Bianca's Christmas Concert is this afternoon & I'm looking forward to watching her perfomance!!  I'll be back tomorrow with my Etsy post but right now I have to run to work so I better get moving.   Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!!!

Thoughts of loved ones all feasting together,
Pleasant pictures from past times appear
To dwell in each heart and each mind--
Then Thanksgiving is finally here!


The kitchen has scrumptious aromas,
The dining room looks oh, so fine,
Decorations with pilgrims and turkeys,
And now we are ready to dine!


First the napkins are placed on our laps;
Now the prayer for the meal to be blessed,
Then we stuff the good food in our tummies,
And we hope for it all to digest!

Brandon's Christmas Concert

Happy Friday Everyone!
I've had an extremely busy week with closing out Misti's party, getting ready for Brandon's concert, prepping for next week's technique class & add the fact that I do work part time......get the picture LOL!!  I'm showing you a few pics we took last  night after Brandon's performance @ school.  He joined the choir this year and is really enjoying it & his choir teacher just LOVES him!!!  The children did a phenomenal job with harmonizing their different parts & dancing along with the tunes.  We had a great time.....I hope you enjoy the pics!

Diva 3D Swaps

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I had every intention on posting yesterday but LIFE sometimes just gets in the way!!!  We had a wonderful weekend and Brandon really enjoyed his birthday---thank you for your Birthday wishes for him!!!  I had to work yesterday afternoon & we had our meeting last night so that's what my post is all about today!

We were required to  make 3D swaps for our November meeting & I must say how pleased I am with everyone's swap!  The 3 reindeer in the back are my most fave ones out of the bunch but they're all terrific & will provide much needed samples for me!!!  I hope you enjoy them as well.

Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Sketch Card

Happy Monday Everyone!
I have another quick post for you today as I have a workshop tonight.  I'm really excited about this party & I'm looking forward to having a great time!!

My card is featuring the sketch from Shirley's 2 Girls & the twist for this week was to use Kraft paper or a paper bag.  I chose Kraft paper & made another Christmas card throwing in some Rich Razzleberry to finish it off.  I'm glad I did because this color combo with the sketch is truly a keeper in my book!!!  Thanks so  much for the fun challenge ladies & I hope you all enjoy it as well!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was so much fun & yesterday I spent the day working on the wedding invitations that I've been commissioned to do. They're coming along so pretty with the embossing & other details that I'm adding. I can't wait for Juliana to see them.....I hope she'll be pleased!

My card for today is featuring one of my Christmas creations I made for a swap that I was in. I believe the layout came from SCS & the colors are a random choice of mine that I rarely use. It's quite refreshing to throw something different in the mix & have it come out nice......I think the pretty snowflakes really helped pull it all together along with the decorative edge. I hope you enjoy it as much as the ladies in the swap did!!

Halloween Goodies....

My post for today is a little sampling of what we did for our Halloween Stamp Camp.  Why did I say a little sampling you ask?  I shipped off some of the other things that we made for my Secret Sister & didn't take a picture before I did---shame on me but good in the sense that she doesn't get to *spy* on her goodies before she gets them!!  We had a great time & I'm looking forward to our next get together!

What's Been Keeping Me Busy.....

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

As you can see from the above photo, I was quite busy yesterday making the class treats for my younger 2 children.  I simplified this project by omiting the ribbon and just using dimensionals on my stamped images & I attached them to the tubes with dimensionals too.  I'm really glad I thought of that because it would've taken even longer if I had used the ribbon & linen thread to hang my punched sentiment.  I did enjoy putting these together and I hope their classmates enjoy the candy inside!

I have 2 class parties today so I better get a move on to make sure everything is in order before they start.  If you guessed that I'm the coordinator for their classes, you're correct & I must be crazy to take this on but they didn't have anyone else so I stepped up to the plate.  I'm looking forward to having a great time today!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!

It's Been a ROUGH Week.....

Good Monday Morning My Friends!
I'm so happy to announce today that I am finally back to my old self!  My Dr. diagnosed me with the flu---not any unnatural strain....just the seasonal flu---& bronchitis.  He literally looked at me and said "you're so infected right now & I need to immediately get you on antibiotics!"  They worked wonders & I feel so much better.  I don't ever want that bug again but now that I'm working outside my home, I'll probably get it again next year until my system gets used to being around *other* people---according to him anyway!  Needless to say that I missed an entire week of work & I'm totally behind in other things but I'm going to take my time getting caught up.  I haven't stamped in so long that I'm thinking I may have forgot how LOL but I do have some Christmas cards that I did before I got sick.  I'll start posting those tomorrow for you to enjoy.
