I'm posting my creation for 613 Avenue Create & as always we're an Anything Goes challenge blog with an optional twist.  Our twist this week is for you to celebrate World Peace Day with us!  We want to see your works of art using the peace symbol or the word peace.  I used the word peace on my card for today & in case you're wondering.....no I didn't forget to color my image LOL!!!  Loves Rubberstamps is having a black & white or sepia color challenge this week & I decided to give it a whirl!  I was really happy with my card until I chose to color Joanies' hair....now I know why I rarely use my black coloring pencil---I do not like how her hair came out & wish I had just left it alone but at least the rest of the card is cute!!!  To see what the rest of the Design Team created, please check out our blog & while you're there; read up on our rules so you can play along with us!  I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with....have fun & happy stamping everyone!!!!!

It's the end of the month so it's time for another Crafters of Faith challenge & it's my turn to host!!!  I chose:  

 "For God so loved the world; that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is my most favorite verse in the Bible. It speaks to me about love...a great love that will never end. How awesome!!! For the month of May; I would like you ladies to create something out of love. Interpret this anyway you want...it can be a fave stamp set; some of your fave embellishments, maybe even a project for a loved one. There's so many possibilities & I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!

Well, I have a variety of things that I LOVE in the card I made for today....pink is my most fave color to use; I absolutely LOVE texture; God gave us beautiful creatures & nature to inspire us & I used 2 of my most fave things that He created~Flowers & Butterflies and last but not least...my fave embellishments to use are ribbon, pearls & rhinestones.  Please check out the rest of the ladies to see what they created...their links are listed on the left hand side of my blog.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday Everyone!

It's time for another Loves Rubberstamps challenge & this week we're asking you to create cards with an outdoor scene.  I used the cloudy day embossing folder to make my clouds, big shot for the butterflies & stamped the tree along with the sentiment.  I made the grass with my paper snips...I'm not very good at it yet but for my first time making something like this---I think I did a pretty good job!  I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!

Just upload a creation that follows this week's challenge to your online blog or gallery. Then leave a link to your project in the linky widget at the bottom of the post. I used this super cute sketch to make my creation as well as some gorgeous butterflies to liven it up a bit....you know I can't resist adding things like bling, butterflies & texture LOL!!!!  I also embossed the main image & watercolored the roses---I'm starting to get the hang of this technique so you may see a LOT more of it!!!!

Good Monday Morning Stamping Friends!

I'm so happy that last week is over LOL!  My son Brandon was home sick for 2 days & that totally threw off the rest of my week.  We did have a relaxing weekend & here's to wishing/hoping that no one else gets sick!!!
