I'm working on a personal goal to get better at making masculine cards since my hubby's birthday is about 9 days away, Father's Day is coming & my oldest son will be 20 next month....never mind the fact that our middle child Brandon is now a freshman in highschool so I REALLY need to work on this LOL!!! I am quite pleased with how this card turned out & I will also be making 20 more for the Occasions swap that I'm in...I can almost see the light @ the end of the tunnel!  ENJOY!!!

I'm still working away on my convention things & today's post is for a WOW swap.  Our hostess Joan is requiring us to make something with either a fancy fold or technique with layers & embellishments.  I went with a fancy fold called an upright Z fold, distressed my edges, added layers, several different embellishments & finally shimmer.  I'm supposed to make 75 cards for this swap but I think I'd go batty doing that many of 1 type so I'm only making 20 of these & then I'll do something else....I've done this every year for the last 6 years & never received a complaint so I'm off to cut 40 flowers!!!

I'm working on my organized convention swaps right now & I thought I'd share another one with you today.  This swap calls for us to use bling~rhinestones, pearls, shimmer mist, etc. & since I absolutely LOVE adding shiny things to my cards; I figured it would be a cinch to get these done and packed away.  I did spritz the entire card with shimmer mist but it's so hard for me to capture that effect on my pictures....it is very sparkly in real life & I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else made.  ENJOY!!!

MN Regional Boards #1

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
