Today's post is just like the title says....having some fun!  I saw this sketch over @ Try Stampin' On Tuesday & instantly knew I wanted to make a card with it!  Well; I changed a few things here & there but my layout is totally inspired by their sketch so THANK YOU ladies for the wonderful idea and making life easy for me!!!!!  

I did my usual obsession of adding texture, then some glitzy butterflies as well as a bit of bling...can't make a card without a bit of shine right?!!!  I can almost see the sparkle in my photo & hope you can as well...trust me; it's very sparkly IRL!!!

While I had fun putting my card together & using an old sketch from Papertake Weekly....I totally messed up coloring her face!  It came out way too dark & I lost my light trying to fix it.....I'm so disappointed but used it anyway because I was hoping I could pull off her facial color by her being out in the cold.  I think my daughter is just trying to rack up on the cards I give her because she says it looks fine LOL!  I also asked DH & our son Brandon & got rave reviews from them too so I'm going to let my mistake go and learn from it!  I will be happy when I get more Copic colors....I'm so limited with what I can do at the moment but rest assured that I'm working on that remedy!!!!!

Crafting When We Can Design Team Call....

 Hi everyone!

We are a few DT members down at the moment, and we need some fabulous new DT members.
We are looking for 3 DT Members.
We are running a DT call for 2 weeks alongside our challenge. You don't have to have any DT experience to enter! Also don't worry if you are on lots of DTs.  As long as you can commit to the requirements for this DT and your others that's fine with us!

Requirements

• Has their own active craft or personal blog, and enjoys blogging about their makes.

• Can take good, clear photos of their work.

• Enjoys using digital stamps.

• Make a creation every fortnight.  The majority of the time you will be required to use a specific image from our sponsors, where possible you will be able to choose these. 

• Comment on participant's entries for every challenge.  You will be assigned two numbers and will have to comment on all entries ending in your two numbers.

•  You are required to upload your creation onto the DT blog by the Friday before the challenge runs.

• Most of all, enjoys having fun and sharing their creations with others!

Benefits 

• The majority of our sponsors offer free images, these are yours to keep.  

• DT experience with a lovely, friendly design team.  

• New crafty blogger friends.
