Wedding Class Card

Good Monday Evening Everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.....mine was full of creativity as I prepare for my Bourbonnais class this Friday evening.  I'll be showing you the cards we'll be making throughout this week so stay tuned!

Tonight's post is one of the cards we made @ Grande Reserve Elementary School.  I received a card like this at Convention last year & couldn't wait to reproduce it my way--this year's Convention theme--I kept my lines clean & the design simple.  I do believe my style is clean but not always simple---I do LOVE the layers but my usual creations are not for beginners so I'm training myself LOL!!!  We had a great time & I'm looking forward to the next class!

I'm off to get some more work done!  I don't need to forget anything for Friday---I can't just drive around the corner anymore LOL!  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the evening!

Spring Fever Scrappin' Kit Creations

Good Morning & Happy Friday Everyone!

My post for today is showing some of the cards I've made from the new Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit.  As I've told you before, I'm a bit *sticker* challenged so I set a personal goal to use these kits for cardmaking as well as scrapbooking.  For some it may be easy to do that type of transition; but I've found it extremely hard to come up with creative ideas using those kits.  I also set a goal to keep my creations more simple since I've met some brand new stampers & I don't want to overwhelm them with a *complicated* card.  I will still make those from time to time; but my immediate pursuits will be to work on the goals that I've set for myself.

I'm using half of the new Spring Fever Simply Scrappin' Kit to make these beauties & with the weather we're having; it brings much needed sunshine into my heart!!  My plan is to take these with me next Friday evening to Bourbonnais where I'm teaching a class that night....weather permitting!  They're always excited about any of the classes we do but I received an excellent response when I told them about this one so I'm looking forward to seeing their reaction when I show these off!  I'll also be sharing these with some new stamping friends locally & I can't begin to tell you how anxious I am to stamp with some newbies!!  Let me know if you have any questions or if you want to join us for a fun evening of stamping because we're always looking for new friends to join us!

Well, I need to finish the last few cards for this class & start to work on my next one.  I will be extremely busy these next few days so excuse my absence in advance.  I hope to be able to post on Monday but I may not make it until Tuesday.  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the weekend!
Until Next Time,

Halloween Stamp Camp Fun

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday Friends!

I had so much fun sponsoring Lessology & it's going to be very tough for the DT to pick just 2 winners with so many FAB projects!  Good luck ladies & can't wait to see who wins!!!

My post for today is featuring the projects we made last Friday night here at my home.  I held my annual Halloween Stamp Camp & it was a BLAST!!!!!  I truly enjoy stamping, meeting new people & watching them *grow* into a seasoned stamper!  I experienced this on Friday night....Kathy S. is new but she jumped right into  these projects with no fear &  this was just her 2nd class!!!!!  I'm looking forward to many more sessions with her & the rest of my friends!!!

Well, that's it for me today!  I really have to get *BUSY* but I'll be back in a couple of days with an announcement!  Thanks so much for stopping by & I hope you have a great rest of the day!!!

Halloween Goodies....

Happy Thursday Everyone!
My post for today is a little sampling of what we did for our Halloween Stamp Camp.  Why did I say a little sampling you ask?  I shipped off some of the other things that we made for my Secret Sister & didn't take a picture before I did---shame on me but good in the sense that she doesn't get to *spy* on her goodies before she gets them!!  We had a great time & I'm looking forward to our next get together!

I'm still getting the hang of this watermark thingy so bear with me for a bit.  You may see it change a few times before I'm totally happy with it LOL!  I have parent-teacher conferences today & my downline meeting tonight with my girls so I better get ready.  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!

In Memory of Michelle Hale

Happy Hump Day Everyone!
It's with a heavy heart that I dedicate my post for today to my stamping friend Michelle Hale. I found out yesterday that she was killed when a car hit her while she was jogging. I met Michelle through our mutual love of stamping & we frequented each other's blogs leaving comments back & forth. I enjoyed reading her posts about her family, her love of crafting and her passion about running. Yes, Michelle was a marathon runner! She was 44 when she passed away but didn't look a day over 29 to me!! How tragic to lose someone so fast like this! I can't imagine how her family is dealing with her loss. She had 2 daughters & a grandson.....her youngest was the same age as my son---16. I hope they're finding some solace with their Dad and I just can't express how sad I am for them all! Please keep this entire family in your thoughts and prayers & be sure to hug the ones you love and tell them so every day if not every minute!!

My card features the cracked glass technique. It's one of the cards we did yesterday in class. I'll share more details about this technique on a later date. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!

I'm excited about this being the middle of the week even though Bianca is still home with a fever. This virus is tough but hopefully it will leave her system soon!!

Purse Scrapbook

Good Morning & TGIF!!!!!!
I had a very busy week and I'm looking forward to a not so busy weekend. The only thing I know for sure that I have to do is take my younger 2 for pictures tomorrow. I'll spend the rest of my time getting my papers together for our Accountant and prepping for next week's class....maybe I will be busy LOL!!

Anywhoo, this is the project that we're doing today as part of my Fun/Funky Folds series of classes. Isn't this the cutest thing?!! I got the idea from my gf Mary--thanks Hun!!! Make sure you stop by and say HI to her! I had so much fun putting this together but now that I'm done with it, when I re-make this; I'll be sure and use our new heavy weight DSP....I'm thinking Parisian Breeze! Don't get me wrong; I LOVE this new Rockabilly paper---the colors and glossy accents are AWESOME--- but I have a heavy hand when it comes to scoring so I split my paper a couple of times LOL! I have some small pics of my kiddos that I can add to this before I send it off to my Aunt...I'm sure she'll love it and overlook my mistakes!!

Well, I'm off to get the kiddos going for school, exercise, freshen up and be ready for class! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!

Calendar & a card too....

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!
My son received a clean bill of health from his Dr. and is all set to go back to school on Thursday!!!! I had no doubt that she would give the OK for him but it was nice talking with her and seeing her delight in how good he looks. Lil' Reg is sooo ready to get back to being a teenager after being stuck in this house since Oct. 21st and I'm so thankful that he's healthy once again!!!

Here's what we'll be creating today and I hope everyone enjoys making these projects. Not the one I had planned for today but I'm thinking it'll do!! My fave is the card because I used my SU! markers and the Big Shot---2 of my favorite things! The calendar was supposed to have magnets attached but I can't find them now that I've cleared most of my things out....should've just left it messy LOL!! It gave me a chance to use up a few more clips though so I'm happy about that. The post it note holder can serve a dual purpose if you want it to....I almost--key word--put a cello bag in there with some candy until I realized I didn't have any candy to pass out *gasp* so it's now *officially* a post it note holder!!!

Before I jet off of here, there's some blog candy up for grabs over on Lauren's blog. The stamped images are darling and would be too cute all colored in!! Hop on over & post a comment and if you win, we split the images K?!! JK!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day.

I do believe everyone would agree with me on this point!!!!

In case anyone's wondering, this class was my freebie to my clients who have supported me and kept me in business this past year! I truly appreciate them choosing me as their SU! demonstrator and attending my classes....Luv u girls and looking forward to another great year!!!
