He's giving the winner an 8x10 print of their choice so be sure and join us for the chance to win! Visit the above shop, pick your inspiration, make your creation and link it to Ashley's blog.

I chose the pic posted above and decided to focus on the green from the leaves and added my fave shade of blue. I really like the end result & hope you do too!! Be sure and check out the rest of the Design Team & leave them some love!!

This next card is for Jazzy Inspirations and the challenge was to use Orange, Red, Black, White & Yellow. I compromised by using Riding Hood Red because it reminds me of the orange/red combo...through in the other colors and voila---finished card! My main image is stamped in bleach and I think it created the coolest effect on this cardstock. It feels really good to know that your basic techniqes can still make a nice card! Be sure and check out the Jazzy blog for the DT call and to link up your creations for the chance to be the Jazz Cat of the week!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!TTFN,

Jazzy Inspirations & Etsy Time......

Good Saturday Morning Everyone!
It's that time again....yep another double dose of DT work LOL!
This card is for the Jazzy Inspirations challenge to use dark green, dark purple, gray & white. I chose Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green, Whisper White & Basic Gray for my color choices. I also used the sketch from Paper Blooms to help it all come together & I must say that I really LOVE the final result! I think it looks quite elegant despite the colors we had to use. Be sure to check out the Jazzy blog for all the other DT creations & that's where you'd link your creation for a chance to be the Jazz Cat of the week. Good Luck!!!

This is my Etsy Inspired card and wait 'til you *peek* at this week's shop! It's called Chicy Creations and her things are just too stinkin' cute!!! She has all kinds of beautiful hair bows amongst other things that will really inspire you so be sure to check it out! This week's lucky winner will receive an absolutely gorgeous hair pin!! You can see it here....isn't it beautiful!!!!

My creation focuses on the colors from the pretty hair ribbons above and since I used a fairy; it also qualifies for the Flutter by Wednesday challenge. I'm always *looking* at it but don't always get to participate so I was thrilled when I was cleaning & found this image---don't know where I got it but she's adorable! I'm also featuring the sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches....yep 3 challenges on 1 card! Not bad & I think that just makes life so much easier!!!

I'll leave you with the awesome eye candy from the rest of the DT. Make sure you stop by and leave them some love!!

Etsy Designs & Late Jazzy Card.....

Good Saturday Morning Peeps!
It's another Etsy Saturday but before I get to that, I'm showcasing my card for the Jazzy Inspirations Team. We had to use the color combo of Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Green Galore & Basic Black. Not a bad color challenge & I combined it with the CPS Card Sketch to make it even easier. There's still 1 week left to play along so make your creation and link it to the Jazzy Blog. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

My next card is for this week's Etsy Challenge. The store we focused on is called Bacon Square Farm and their creations are a mix of cute & country......so cute!! I chose the above pic as the source of my inspiration or should I say the colors drew me in LOL! I used the bleaching technique on my main image and I really like the final result!

Kristen will be giving away a little something from Unity to the lucky winner so be sure to visit the above shop, pick your inspiration, make your creation and link it to Ashley's blog!!! Don't forget to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations.....you'll be happy that you did!!

Let me be the first to say that this was QUITE the challenge peeps! I was totally stumped on how to work these colors so I just pulled out my fave stampset and wished for the best LOL! I don't think it came out too bad---I look at it as a CAS....Clean and Simple work of art! I like the stamps I used so much I continued to use them with the picture below.......

My next card is for Etsy Inspired and this is the shop we parused this week. For this challenge, we had to use the colors of Herbie Hancock's album which are Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Going Gray. I also used Mercy's sketch since I felt it was a perfect compliment to our challenge. Thanks Mercy!!

Jazzy Inspiration #3 & OCC Sketch

Happy Saturday Everyone!
My first card is for Jazzy Inspirations. Our challenge was to make a blue monochromatic card based on the album you see above. Easy enough right? I used Night of Navy & Brocade Blue for my colors along with Whisper White and some retired DSP from SU! Added some scallops, bling, ribbon & dots...all done!! Come on over and play with us...we love looking at your fab creations!! My card is also featuring the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You.....thanks Kazan---I love it!!!!

This card is for last week's sketch challenge on the OCC blog. They have really cool challenges posted every Saturday...if only I could get myself *unbusy* to complete these in time!! I'm truly working on that and will get this week's challenge done really early if things go as planned. For my card I used Purely Pomegranate & Pink Pirouette cs. I threw in a bit of black with my white to kind of balance it out and I do believe that was the right thing to do. I'm lovin' the Season of Friendship ss along with the sentiments from the new Level 2 Hostess set--A Little Somethin'-- so couldn't resist inkin' them up! I was trying to find a small solid heart to use but came up empty so I resorted to stamping those luscious lips from High Hopes......a truly *kissed* tree LOL!!!

I hope everyone has a pleasant day! We're going to visit our cousin who just had a baby boy....can't wait to see the lil' cutie & kiss those cheeks!! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Jazzy Inspirations Challenge #2 & Something Old

Good Saturday Morning! It was so nice reading your comments from yesterday and checking out your blogs to see what goodies/presents everyone received!! I'm a bit impatient though...I asked for $$ and Santa delivered but now I have to wait for my things to arrive.....can you say STALKER for real ROFLOL!!!!!

K, enough drama.....onto my creations for today! My first card is for the Jazzy Inspirations Challenge. We had to use the color combo of the album cover--red, black & white-- for our cards which was a blessing since it's one of my fave colors to use this time of year...Valentine's Day!! The sentiments you see are more from the new Level 2 Hostess Set....told you they were a lot of fun to use! Hop on over to the Blog and participate with us! We'd love to see what you come up with!!

My other card is for the Limited Supplies challenge on SCS. We were required to make a card that wasn't Christmassy at all....colors, images, etc. I used an old SU! set called Bubble Queen with some older retired DSP. I picked that paper particularly for the colors.....all I had to do was bling up the bubbles and a few flowers---all done!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great rest of the day/night.

Jazzy Inspiration

Good Friday Evening!

This is my card for the Jazzy Inspirations Challenge. We had to come up with a card based on the album cover that you see. When I looked at the album, I immediately pictured the Dreams du Jour ss colored in Yo Yo Yellow & Really Rust. I used the Leaves ala Carte wheel, added ribbon, brads and my butterfly. Finito...my creation is complete LOL!! Pop on over to the blog and play along with us! We'd love to see your wonderful creations!!!

I'm off to do the Inspiration Challenge on SCS now. I'll be back a bit later with that card....I already know what colors I'm using and I have another sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. *See* you in a bit!!
