Good Morning & Happy Sunday Stamping Friends!!!!

It's our Anything Goes challenge @ 613 Avenue Create & our optional theme for this week is to make a gift set!  I made a Valentine card with a matching tag using Oohoo night image from The Stamping Chef & I made a Birthday card with a coordinating bookmark set using the Birthday image from Flatfriends Boutique.  The Design Team created some very lovely gift sets which I'm sure will get your creative juices flowing so please check out our blog & while you're there; read up on our rules so you can play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you create...have fun & happy stamping everyone!!!!

I must admit that it was so much fun making these 2 gift sets!!!  I am just starting to use Copic markers & while I'm a beginner using them; I LOVE how my owl images came out!  I'm having an extremely hard time finding my light but I know with practice; my cards will only get better!!!  For the birthday set; I used my prismacolor pencils with gamsol....for the first time!  I'm not sure why I waited to try this technique but the shading is so much easier to achieve & my coloring is beyond smooth!  I have stepped out of my comfort zone and I am so HAPPY that I did!!!!!

    I wanted to let you know how much I love your projects this week!! I have to say the owl is my favorite :) Love the tag and how you've tied the ribbon/netting. The card is just beautiful with the texture and the bow and key. Don't you just love the effect of the Gamsol? I was glad I stepped out of my comfort zone a couple of years ago and tried the Prisma's and Gamsol :) Love the layout of that card too.
