Good Morning & Happy New Year's Eve Everyone!

I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families/friends.  Mine was awesome as my son came home to spend Christmas with us.  It was very nice having him around & hanging out with him....was very bittersweet taking him to the airport though.  I'll be counting the days until I get to see him again!!!

I have a double duty card to share with you today.  First up is the ABC Challenge--New Year Sparkle!  We're challenging you to make a card using things that are shiny & sparkly for the New Year!  I used dazzling diamonds glitter all over those trees along with brushed silver card stock & added some rhinestones to complete my simple design.  Check out our blog to see the rest of the gorgeous designs & after you've been inspired; you'll have until Sunday; January 6, 2013 @ noon EST to post your creations here.  Have fun & I can't wait to see your wonderful works of art!!!!

Happy Wednesday Evening Stamping Friends!

I'm a bit under the weather so this will be a quicky post!  I'm playing along with the Outlawz again today using their sketch as the base of my creation.  I also embossed the sentiment as well as added lots of texture to bring out that gold a bit more.  It took me all of maybe 15 minutes to make this beauty & it's the simplest card I made yet.  I do hope the recipient enjoys it!!!  My creation is being entered into the following challenges:

It's the 5th of the month so that means it's time for our Crafty Gals post!  

Our challenge theme:  Go back to the month of March on one of the Crafty Gals blogs.  It doesn't matter whom you choose. That is totally up to you. That's the fun of us guessing right?!  Find a project from the month of March on their blog and CASE it. Don't list who you visited on your Dec. 5th blog post. We have to guess. This will also be kind of like a scavenger hunt. We'll want to go look at the original "artwork" you CASED so we'll be visiting March blog posts of our GALS!!!!

Good Morning & Happy Monday Stamping Friends!

I'm so excited to be this week's hostess @ ABC Challenges & my theme for you all is to make Christmas cards with sparkle/bling!  I don't think I've made 1 Christmas card this year that doesn't have some sparkle on it somewhere so this idea was quite natural for me!!!

I based my card off of one that I received @ Convention with the exception that I added rhinestones, shimmer mist---which you can't see in the photo---and dimension.  It's pretty basic but I do LOVE the final look & I hope I've inspired you to play along with us!!!  Check out our blog for even more inspiration & after you've been inspired; link your beautiful creations here by next Sunday, December 9, 2012 @ noon EST.
