This is my final post for the Color Me Beautiful challenge as the creators of the blog have decided to end it.  Carole is having surgery & we wish her a quick and speedy recovery!  Today is the last day of the month & that means it's time for my Crafters of Faith challenge too so I combined both to prevent a double post.  I also decided to play along with the Deconstructed Sketch this week & it really made my work so much easier!  Thanks Jen!!!!!

Our hostess this month is Mary Rose & here is her challenge:  Make a card inspired by a favorite Christmas carol. You may include a little bling to represent the Light of the World. Bonus points for anyone who uses gingham and kraft in their design, just because I LOVE gingham and kraft! ha ha! It could be gingham ribbon, gingham paper, a gingham stamp print, kraft card stock, kraft ribbon, etc.

My card was inspired by the Christmas Carol Let It Snow. I always find myself humming that tune so it was a cinch which song I would use for my creation!  ENJOY & check out the rest of the Faith girls to see what they've created.  Their blogs are listed on the left.

I'm back with another post for ABC Challenges!  You need to create a card using the above chart.  Use 1 row of items on your creations & the row you choose can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal.  Please put in your blog post what 3 in a row items you used.

For my project; I used the bottom row and surprisingly made my card in under 20 minutes!  A new record for me I think & this lil' beauty will be off to my son....I do love sending him happy mail & he truly enjoys receiving it!

Good Monday Morning Stamping Friends!

It's the 5th of the month which means it's time for another Crafty Gals monthly challenge & I'm the hostess for November!!!!!  I challenged my friends to make a creation using Fall colors that focused on the blessings in their lives.  It could be a shadowbox, scrapbook page; mini scrapbook....the possibilities are endless here & I can't wait to see what everyone made!

My family is truly a blessing to me & I wanted to showcase this by making a home decor item but my mind kept wondering back to my oldest son's scrapbook.  I do love to look through it & see how he's changed over the years so I went with my heart and made a double page layout for the family scrapbook.  I already knew which pictures I was going to use so without using any templates or anything of the sort....I let my creativity flow on this one & I'm very happy to add these 2 finished pages to our book.
