This is my card for the Jazzy Inspirations Challenge. We had to come up with a card based on the album cover that you see. When I looked at the album, I immediately pictured the Dreams du Jour ss colored in Yo Yo Yellow & Really Rust. I used the Leaves ala Carte wheel, added ribbon, brads and my butterfly. Finito...my creation is complete LOL!! Pop on over to the blog and play along with us! We'd love to see your wonderful creations!!!
I'm off to do the Inspiration Challenge on SCS now. I'll be back a bit later with that card....I already know what colors I'm using and I have another sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. *See* you in a bit!!
TTFN,
Dreams du Jour ss; Leaves alo Carte Jumbo Wheel; Basic Black, Yo Yo Yellow & Shimmer Whte cs; Basic Black & Yo Yo Yellow ink; SU! Markers; Sheer Ribbon; Black Brads; Black Diamond Stickles

ReplyDeleteI love those colors and that great image. You did a fabulous job on the challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great color combo. I never use yoyo yellow myself because it seems too bright to me. But your card shows that it can be very cheery. I like your card better than the album cover.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great card! I don't use Yoyo Yellow very much since I can never seem to get it to look right. But you did a fantastic job with it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally cool, I love your interpretation of the challenge
ReplyDeleteWent over to the Jazz Inspiration site and am bookmarking it...loved listening to the music! Brought back memories of school days & drum & bugle corps!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, girlie!!
