Half Baked Friday

Good Morning and TGIF!!!
Ever have one of those days where you have everything planned and then everything goes wrong??? Well, that was yesterday and I'm hoping today is a much better day! We went Christmas tree shopping and I had my heart set on a certain type of tree.....well, they were all gone. Company wide, not one tree available so I ended up buying a much more expensive one that included lights but by doing so; totally threw off my entire decorating scheme which I've had for the last 8 years!! Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful tree I just *needed* a plain one so I could continue with what I've always been doing. I guess change is good to a certain extent but I was totally not prepared for this at all! I'll probably brighten up as I *find* things to decorate it with even though it's beautiful just being plugged in.....

Anywhoo, onto my card!! This is obviously not the one that I had planned to make but since *shopping* took so much longer than I had expected---my mind was completely fried!!! I chose to do yesterday's Ways to Use It Challenge using a sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. Helped calm me down and took away the anxiety of having to think too hard LOL!! I really like how this came out and the sketch fit the challenge perfectly.....we had to stamp half an image so I just stamped the whole row of trees and punched out part of it. Voila!!! Half Baked!!!

Sorry about the picture. I took quite a few of them but most were too dark. I hope you can see some of the detail here like the wheeled background on the Brocade Blue. I think it came out so soft and pretty.

Well, I'm off to get my hair done. I'll be back later this evening hopefully completely relaxed and ready to stamp. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!
