Etsy Inspiration #36
Good Morning and Happy Saturday!
ETA: I made this card and pre-post before Brandon got sick. He's doing a bit better & he's on different meds---actually natural ones to get away from all the drugs. He's responding very well to them!
It's Etsy Inspiration time again and we have another fun shop for you! This week's shop is called DogboneArt and her plushies/designs are the cutest things! This week's winner will get their choice of a robot plushie.....they're sooo cute! How do you win? Visit the above shop, pick a piece for your inspiration, create your project and link it to Ashley's blog!
I chose that adorable cupcake for my inspiration. I'm always drawn to the colors of the shops that we feature and the colors in that pic really spoke to me. I'm quite pleased with the finished design....simple but cute!! Be sure and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations! I'm sure there'll be lots of eye candy for you all to see!!!

Beautiful Jackie. The colors are awesome!! I how you did the scallops at the bottom! :)
ReplyDeleteI can see why that cupcake would inspire you - so cute. I like the pretty punched border with that Parisian paper.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you are trying natural medicines with your son. Last year, when I had the bronchitis so bad (in addition to an ear infection, strep throat and eventually mono) I was on so many different medicines that I had to have a schedule of when to take them. Eventually I got so sick I had to be hospitalized. The doctor said one of the reasons I was so bad off was that I was on way too many meds, one of which it turns out I was allergic to. Steroids (like Advair) can be helpful, but they can also eventually cause other problems if they are taken too long. Now I'm back on daily echinacea and vitamin C to help stay healthier - and so far so good. I've only had one very mild cold in the last year.
This is beautiful, Jackie! I love the monochromatic look! Hope Brandon is doing better soon!

Hey Jackie,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you have had such a rough week just read your last couple of posts!!!
Bronchitis always stems from another respiratory infection or allergy reaction and that make it so tough for them!!!
I have had it a few times and it makes you feel so aweful!!!
I hope you do not get it!!!
Great card by the way and it totally goes with your inspiration pieces!!!!
