I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....mine was full of laundry & I'm still working on the last bit! It's never ending and it seems there's always *something* left in the hamper.....Oh the joy of having a family LOL!!!
My creation for today is for Julee's Mojo Sketch Challenge. I'm so proud of myself for using nothing but scraps to complete this creation! Seriously, I went through my *huge* scrap folder and picked the pieces I needed for my card.....I wasn't surprised at all but more determined to get rid of this stockpile of scraps! I was fairly disappointed that after all my hard work on this baby, I stamped my sentiment slightly crooked!!!! Crap, I'm keeping it and sending it to someone that hopefully won't notice LOL!! Don't forget to stop by on Thursday for the Shirley's 2 Girls Blog Hop! We have a lot of fun things in store for you & I'm sure you don't want to miss out on anything including my very first post as a Guest Design Team Member!!!
Well, I need to finish prepping for tomorrow night's class. We're doing a special 3D project that I'll hopefully have pics for you tomorrow. Time to get back to work! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!

This card is gorgeous! The layout is great and your choice of colors and stamps are fabulous! If any questions the sentiment you tell them it's supposed to be that way. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNice job on this Jackie! I love the Kiwi Kiss and will miss it when it retires! :o) Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! I love the all the greens together and the images you chose.
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty Jackie and you can barely tell on the sentiment. I love using up scraps. That's my goal until the new catalog comes out. LOL!

What a pretty card, Jackie! I like all of the layers, panels & dots!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jackie !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, I love the different layers and how the dots are repeated throughout.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for using scraps. And such pretty colors. I didn't even notice the crooked sentiment until you mentioned it. I'm sure the recipient won't either. I actually have a bunch of cards that have something crooked or a smudge or something else I'm not happy with that I save to send to the older folks on my card list. Since most of them have very poor eyesight, they will never notice those little imperfections but still really appreciate the card.
ReplyDeleteAwesome colors and LO, and I love the polka dots! Don't you hate it when you stamp the sentiment crooked?! That's the reason I first tried clear stamps LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jackie! I feel your pain about the laundry! I could was 100 loads a day and there would still be a dirty sock in the hamper! That's when I shove it under the bed!! ;) I love your colors on this card. I like how you worked all the elements together too. I can't seem to manage more than two!! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie!! What a lovely creation!! Beautiful details and colors!! :) Have a lovely evening!

ReplyDeleteGreat job on the sketch and only another cardmaker would notice if your birthday sentiment was a little off.
ReplyDeleteI had to crack up when I read your post about the crooked sentiment...I did the very same thing today!!! I ended up covering it up by stamping the sentiment on paper, punching it out, and attaching over the oops!!! I love your beautiful card...such awesome colors, images, and way to go using up those scraps!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Jackie! Love the textures and all your panels! Great color combo!

Beautiful! I love that you made it all out of scraps. Nice to know I'm not the only one that will have THE perfect card, and then stamp the sentiment crooked. I've done it more times than I care to admit. LOL
