Happy Friday Everyone!
My card for today is featuring the Sketch Challenge combined with the Color Challenge from SCS to use So Saffron, Handsome Hunter & Bravo Burgundy. I had a very hard time figuring out how I was going to work these colors peeps! I scratched my head for quite a while until I saw the sketch and then it all came together albeit slowly but it finally did. I stamped my so saffron cs to make the appearance of dp, sponged 2 of my image panels for a bit of depth and randomly stamped my flower piece to incorporate all the colors.
Sometimes going outside your comfort zone is the right thing to do.....I'm really glad I did on this card!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!

ReplyDeleteI like how you used mostly saffron and have just hints of the dark colors. I saw your card in the gallery a couple of days ago and after being stumped as to how to go about this challenge, I decided to go with your idea and stick with the mostly saffron on mine. This is a nice use of the Eastern Blooms set.
