Thank You...

Happy Hump Day to you! I can't believe it's Wednesday when it only feels like a Tuesday to me...ever have that feeling??? Thanks so much for your concern yesterday about Lil' Reg! DH recommended the Oral Surgeon he used for his wisdom teeth and now I'm not so worried. Lil' Reg isn't concerned at all except for the fact that he thinks that the *female* race will consider him *off limits* until the braces come off LOL!!! Never mind the fact that he can't date anyway until he's 16(July)....I think he's scoping out future prospects!!!! I'm glad he won't have to wear them for a long time but I'm pretty sure it will be like torture for him!

Hmmm, my card.....wondering what to say about it LOL! I started out with this idea to make another Valentine's card and ended up with a Friendship one. I actually like the color combo of Kraft, Bravo Burgundy & Blush Blossom.....kind of messed up my sketch tho. Once again, I had this idea in my head and as I made the card; I started wondering what I was doing. I used another of my fave ss Upsy Daisy---lovin' those silhouettes, I think they're really pretty! Not sure if you can tell but I did ink up the blush blossom with the See You Around jumbo wheel to add a bit more detail, added dots to my burgundy scallop and punched holes in the bottom edge scallops. I had to have some ribbon & brads though for my final touches....it is pretty IRL and I hope the recipient enjoys it as well!!

I'm about to make my Chili for supper tonight in the crockpot...love that thing!! We have the perfect weather for this dish and it's very filling---can't beat that LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!
TTFN,
Hugs,

  1. Ahhhh puberty! What fun! I'm so glad I don't have to put up with that anymore. Oh, Wait! I do! I have a 3 yr old granddaughter for whom I will have to buy a chastity belt! Do they still make those????? LOL!

Your card is gorgeous. Those colors really are fantastic and I love the silhouette. You'd think I'd use mine more. Hey! That's why you inspire me - so I can!

Happy Hump Day to you, too!

  2. Looks great ,Jacki. That is such a versatile set. SOunds like your son is going through the same as mine- he got his braces on last year and his wisdoms pulled over Christmas break-it would have been better the other way round though because the gauze that they packed his tooth holes with kept getting caught in his wires!!!

We did chicken stew in the crockpot last night - I am a HUGE fan of cooking that way.

  10. I never would have thought to put those colors together. Gives sort of a monochromatic feel. I do like that sillouhette flower image.

Is your DS a candidate for invisilines? They are like retainers that get changed every couple of weeks. You can take them out to eat or brush your teeth - or kiss girls :-). And because they are clear, they aren't as noticeable as regular braces.

  11. I think this is great and find it funny that you started out with a valentine idea and ended up with a non valentine card. I've been doing the complete opposite. I just love that set and can you believe I have it and haven't used it?
