Flowers for You

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Well, yesterday was a bust!! I did not go to dinner with DH because he went to visit a sick friend of his.....I decided to stay home & stamp! I made this card, stamped some images for a couple of image swaps I'm in and drooled over my new catty some more! I browsed my usual blogs looking for a sketch and maybe a color challenge to inspire me but came up empty on that too....

Sooo, I decided to go through my stash of images I've received from Wish-RAK on SCS and ran across this beauty. It's from the ss called Bloomin' Beautiful and I instantly knew what I was going to make. I pictured pink flowers dimensionalized on a polka dot background.....I was just hoping it wouldn't be too busy! I'll make sure to decorate the inside before mailing it so it'll be as pretty as the outside.

I'm off to start dinner! I know it's really early but with DH's work hours, I cook early so he'll have something to eat. Today it's meatloaf, mashed potatoes & corn.....it'll be gone before the day is over and I'll have to think of something else----oh the joys of having a family LOL!!! I hope the rest of your day is great.....thanks so much for stopping by!!!

  1. Oh Jackie.... I'm sorry your day didn't turn out that great. But stampin' is better than cookin' but NOT better than spending time with family! And look how you spent the day. This card is gorgeous! I love those colors and I like the photo corners. Hmmm, I rarely use that punch.

Need some sketch inspiration.... here's a few for you..

  13. This is so pretty. I like that patterned paper and the color combo.

I just put my cassarole in the oven. It's one of our favorites but takes about an hour and a half to make - about half that time in the oven - so I don't make it often. But mmmmm is it good. The main ingredients are apples, cheese and saurkraut. I know, sounds odd but it's really delicious.
