Convention Swap #1.....

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
First I want to thank everyone for the kind comments & emails I received yesterday! I truly appreciate everyone's advice and I took them all to heart.....obviously my Dr. took my reaction to heart about what/how he talked to me on Monday.....it wasn't pretty either peeps. I've had a *hair trigger temper* ever since my accident & I think I scared him a bit LOL!! He called me to apologize about his *bedside manner*, he let me know that he's set up some blood work for me to test my thyroid and a few other things, he told me I should *eat* more (as you all did) and continue to do what I'm doing. He told me that I wasn't *unhealthy*---I'm in between a size 8 & 10 depending on the style of jeans....however; my 10's are getting a bit big for me now--- but for my height--I think I'm maybe 5'0 or 5'1--my weight needs to be between 125-130 but that he also understands that I lift weights a LOT. "Do more cardio....ride your bike more and lift less." Well, that's what I'm doing (every morning) and with my husband's complete support. He really loves me you guys. He went out and bought me all kinds of protein shakes, bars, lots of fruit & 100 calorie snacks. I'm already taking vitamins but he added a bit more to my regimen. He has never complained about my weight either.....he was just as shocked with the # on the scale as I was. He immediately said---"you don't look like you weigh that much, I thought you would be at 135-140 honestly." "We'll start riding together to get rid of some of your muscle mass OK?" Gotta love him hugh...

Anywhoo, onto my post for today. This is called a *flip tab album* and I really love how it came out! Super easy to make and gotta love the new Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.....the gorgeous colors in the paper really *made* this album to me. I have everything sorted out assembly line style so now all I have to do is finish the other 5. I do hope the other ladies in this swap enjoy/like this lil' album and I also hope you all don't mind me posting my Convention stuff. I have quite a few things to make so you'll be seeing lots more. Oh, & for my clients that *stalk* my blog.....pretend that you didn't see this ROFLOL!!

I have to get movin' now! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!
TTFN,
Hugs,

  4. Jackie this is beautiful!!! Are there directions anywhere for this?

I missed your post from yesterday. Sorry you had a frustrating experience. It seems like you are in the right frame of mind for weight loss and that's the BEST thing!! I lost 50 lbs almost two years ago and have been able to keep it off by healthy eating and definitely SNACKING b/t meals! Remember - you have to feed your body in order for it to burn it off. I HIGHLY recommend You: On a Diet by Dr. Oz. That got my head on straight!
    Good luck :)

  6. Hi Jackie, what a cute album :o) such pretty colours.
We are around the same height, and I have mobility problems and have been steadily losing weight for months. Scales frustrates me, so I no longer use one. I buy smaller clothes, then when they become baggy, I buy a smaller size. It will all come good in the end :o)

  14. Hey Jackie! Love your flip album! I want to get that new DSP. I am making myself wait until I have my new catalog. I am glad you are feeling better, muscle does take up less space and weighs more. Keep up your lifting, I love to lift weights and have done so for many years. It really pays off when you get older. Have a great day!

  16. Oh this is gorgeous - I am sure they will really love this at the convention as I sure do looking at it here :) I am trying to see how you fastened it and it looks like it's held with ribbon? It's stunning! I just read about your medical update and wanted to say you can do it! I've been struggling with those extra 20 "baby pounds" and have had a lecture by my dr as well and slow and steady wins the race! Each week, I aim for one more little pound :) Keep up the good work!

  17. What a wonderful project! I love all the intricate details and each page is just as beautiful as the next.

I hate scales too and don't own one. If you eat well, exercise and feel good, then you're healthy. IMO, the "charts" are general guidelines and each person is individual. Don't let a chart get you down!

  26. What a neat project with all the tabs and sections. Great colors too.

It sounds like you are doing everything you are supposed to be doing for your health and have great support from your hubby. But blood tests can't hurt.
