I have a really quick post for you today but first I want to thank everyone for the get well wishes! I'm feeling a LOT better this morning however; I do have to visit my Dr. today & there's our downline meeting tonight so let's get on to my post!!!
For our meeting this month, we had to create something using a color combo from the Color Wheel. Not as easy as it looks peeps but I think I did OK. I really wanted to use my Taste of Textiles paper since it's retiring so it was a no-brainer that I would be using Not Quite Navy. The hard part was figuring out where to use the rest of the colors that went with my base. After tossing it around for a bit, I decided to use a layout from the current catalog....page 81....as a starting point. You'll see that my card isn't exactly like that one but very similiar----you have to LOVE that book for all it offers right?!!
Well, that's it for me right now! I need to get moving so I'm not late to see Dr. Rey......in case I don't get to create anything myself; I'll probably be sharing some of our swaps tomorrow. I know that there's going to be some great cards!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!
TTFN,
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteI bought that color wheel a couple of years ago because I thought it was such a neat idea and would give me inspiration. But some of those color combos are "unique" to say the least and I didn't end up using it much. I do, however, think that this combo works well together. This is pretty.
