Valentine's & a Sketch

Happy Tuesday Morning!

It's getting close to Christmas and my kiddos are very excited....actually anxious is the word because there's nothing under the tree yet. Yes, my children know that I'm Santa; no, I didn't tell them. How'd they find out? Well, I was busted coming into my house by my younger 2 carrying all these bags a few years ago.....it was late, I thought they were all in bed but what they were really doing was trying to scare me!! Alas, the secret was out and they seemed quite relieved to know that there wasn't a stranger coming into their home once a year! What are ya gonna do...ROFLOL!!!

Anywhoo, onto my cards for today! We have a sketch challenge amongst our blogger group so I used the layout for both cards. My purple creation is for the Technique Lovers Challenge on SCS. Faux Silk with a pop is very easy! Make sure you check it out...there's always something fun to learn!! My red card is just for fun and to add to my stash for Valentine's day. Both cards are pretty simple since I'm pressed for time right now but I'm hoping to get to a few more challenges before Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great rest of the day...stay warm!!!

  1. Hey Jackie!
Your cards are super cute! I'm ready to move on with Valentine's Day cards too!
My daughter knows that I'm(well actually Dad) is Santa. Which makes it much easier to sneak off and wrap gifts. I tell her to stay out ;) haha!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!

  2. Hey Jackie! These are terrific. Each one of your cards are a work of art to me. Thanks for the great inspiration.

My kids are grown & out. Now my granddaughter, however, is a different story. She's 3 and even though Santa scares her, she's looking forward to the presents he brings!

  5. Your cards are just AWESOME, as always, Jackie!!! You have been making some super cute Valentines!!! I am kinda sad to put away the Christmas stamps but once I get into all that pink and red heart stuff, I am sure I will perk right up!!! Your story about Santa is too funny...I can't remember when my kids stopped believing. I think it was when the oldest found out and made sure the younger ones knew, too!!! Have a super special Christmas!!!
