Customer Appreciation Gift

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day Everyone!
As promised; here's the photos of what we made yesterday for my Customer Appreciation Event!! The circle flip up books are so fun to make and I truly enjoyed putting mine together! Watching everyone else put their spin of creativity on theirs was an even greater feeling of joy. While this particular project is no quickie; it was well worth the time and effort put into it! I do believe everyone would agree with me on this point!!!!

In case anyone's wondering, this class was my freebie to my clients who have supported me and kept me in business this past year! I truly appreciate them choosing me as their SU! demonstrator and attending my classes....Luv u girls and looking forward to another great year!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!

Unforgettable Friend

Good Tuesday Morning! I'm really tired today....didn't get much sleep. This is obviously not the project that we're doing today but mine is finished and just needs to be photographed. I had a very busy day yesterday and after everything settled down; it was already past 9 pm.....I finished what I was doing because everyone needs to see a *sample* of what they're making. I hope they really enjoy their appreciation gift from me.....I'm looking forward to some fun in a couple of hours!!

This is another oldie card that I did for a color challenge on SCS. I worked the colors pretty well thanks to the sketch I used. The stampset has to be one of my fave animal sets since I reach for it more than anything else. I colored this cutie with my SU! Markers, added some brads and ribbon---voila....a finished product!

I'm really happy you stopped by today and I will post the pic early tomorrow morning! Enjoy the rest of your day!!

Another Early Creation

Good Monday Morning!
Did everyone have a nice weekend? Mine was great and I actually accomplished quite a few things myself. I spent most of my weekend cleaning instead of creating and my space looks pretty good. It'll look even better when I get another Ikea case in here!! I pulled out most of my retired sets....need to go through my shelves again and possibly pull out more retired things. Will this ever end?!!

Since I decided to purge my space, I don't have a new creation for you but I do have another card that I made when I first started doing the challenges over on SCS. This was made for the Ways to Use It Challenge. We had to use background stamps on our cards instead of designer paper. I used Paisley & En Francais...I wish you could see the detail on this card---the Paisley background came out very nice!!! The color combo has become one of my faves especially since it goes so well with Valentine's day to me.

I'll be busy working on a little something today and hope to have it posted early in the morning. I'm thinking it's going to take me about 2-3 hours to do this project. Can we say sleep over girls?!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!!

Forever in my Heart

Good Sunday Morning Everyone! I hope everyone's off to a great day whether it's church or just relaxing @ home.

My card for today is for 2 challenges. The Inspiration Challenge on SCS and Taylors' Cupcake Challenge. I didn't use a cupcake but I did follow her sketch...I LOVE it!! The colors of my card was inspired by this piece. Aren't those colors pretty on that plate. I immediately thought of this paper that I received from a friend of mine and the rest was easy! Oh, the button....I picked up a bag of buttons a LONG time ago and just recently placed them in a glass jar. This particular button stood out to me so I grabbed it hoping it would work...it does!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Enjoy your Sunday!!

Jazzy Inspirations Challenge #2 & Something Old

Good Saturday Morning! It was so nice reading your comments from yesterday and checking out your blogs to see what goodies/presents everyone received!! I'm a bit impatient though...I asked for $$ and Santa delivered but now I have to wait for my things to arrive.....can you say STALKER for real ROFLOL!!!!!

K, enough drama.....onto my creations for today! My first card is for the Jazzy Inspirations Challenge. We had to use the color combo of the album cover--red, black & white-- for our cards which was a blessing since it's one of my fave colors to use this time of year...Valentine's Day!! The sentiments you see are more from the new Level 2 Hostess Set....told you they were a lot of fun to use! Hop on over to the Blog and participate with us! We'd love to see what you come up with!!

My other card is for the Limited Supplies challenge on SCS. We were required to make a card that wasn't Christmassy at all....colors, images, etc. I used an old SU! set called Bubble Queen with some older retired DSP. I picked that paper particularly for the colors.....all I had to do was bling up the bubbles and a few flowers---all done!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great rest of the day/night.

Fave Valentine

Good Friday Morning!

Anyone hitting sales today? I'm not...I don't think. I've found that if I stay home, I don't spend $$....unless I'm online and find a great deal *wink* If you are venturing out today, stay safe and try to avoid the crowds/trouble LOL!!

The card I made is for the Sketch Challenge on SCS and I do believe it's going to be one that I use for the majority of my Valentine's next year. I love this sketch and how I used my Heart-to-Heart punch to make my background. This is also one of my fave color combos so I'm torn as to whether I want to mass produce this card or come up with a different color scheme....decisions, decisions!! I'll figure it out before it's too late...I hope!!!

The sentiment you see is a new Level 2 Hostess set from SU called A Little Somethin'! It will be available starting January 18th...don't you like it? I do, why you ask??? It coordinates with our punches which means no cutting!!! Don't ya just love that!! I'll be using different sentiments from this set so stick around so you can see more of what's new K?!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Coral & Vintage Valentine Hello

Happy Hump Day and Merry Christmas Eve!!
I will be supah busy today and hope that I can fit everything in before I have to cancel on anyone! The one thing I'm obviously not backing out on is making cards. What can I say, I'm seriously addicted LOL!!

The top card is for the Color Challenge on SCS. I really struggled with how to use the colors so I decided to just color my image with them. I think it worked out pretty well. The image you see is a RAK from one of my cyber friends....don't know who made it but it sure is cute!! I also used the sketch from Jen del Muro. She always has a fun one...check out her blog and see for yourself!! My second card is for my stash of Valentine's that I'll be mailing in February. It's pretty simple without a lot of layers---makes mailing it easier...I'm learning peeps!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a great day and aren't spinning like I'm going to be LOL!!

Valentine's & a Sketch

Happy Tuesday Morning!

It's getting close to Christmas and my kiddos are very excited....actually anxious is the word because there's nothing under the tree yet. Yes, my children know that I'm Santa; no, I didn't tell them. How'd they find out? Well, I was busted coming into my house by my younger 2 carrying all these bags a few years ago.....it was late, I thought they were all in bed but what they were really doing was trying to scare me!! Alas, the secret was out and they seemed quite relieved to know that there wasn't a stranger coming into their home once a year! What are ya gonna do...ROFLOL!!!

Anywhoo, onto my cards for today! We have a sketch challenge amongst our blogger group so I used the layout for both cards. My purple creation is for the Technique Lovers Challenge on SCS. Faux Silk with a pop is very easy! Make sure you check it out...there's always something fun to learn!! My red card is just for fun and to add to my stash for Valentine's day. Both cards are pretty simple since I'm pressed for time right now but I'm hoping to get to a few more challenges before Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great rest of the day...stay warm!!!

Valentine's Anyone??

Happy Monday Everyone!
Well, my event has been re-scheduled due to inclement weather being that we were out of power for the most of yesterday....can you say HELLO WINTER LOL!! I will continue to work on my special surprise and post when I do. I'm just behind right now and that project does take a little bit of time and concentration.

These cards are not what we are making but I wanted to show you something other than Christmas creations. The bottom card is for the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS and the top card is just something fun I made to pass the time while waiting for the power to come back....it was not fun coloring in the *dark* but it looks like I did OK!!

The top card uses an older SU! set that I love because you have to color it....I think I'll be making quite a few Valentine cards with it along with couple of other sets I have. I will post them as they're created and you can tell me if you like them or not K?!! The bottom card uses the ss Love You Much from the new Spring/Summer SU! catty....can't wait to get my hands on that book or some more new goodies!!!

I hope everyone stays safe and warm & that you don't lose power! Thanks so much for stopping by and take care!!!

maXimo Inspired Creation

Happy Sunday to you!
Hope you're all enjoying your day so far...I'm relaxing for the moment myself in preparation for tomorrow. Monday is my customer appreciation day and I have a very special project planned for them. I'll be working on mine in a bit and will post the pic in the morning....I'm excited to have everyone over for a fun time!!

My card is for the Inspiration challenge on SCS. The black & white dress was really pretty and it's a fave color combo of mine so it was a cinch to make this creation. Didn't leave much room for a sentiment but I like it just the same.
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Sketchy Color Challenge Card

Happy Saturday!
I hope everyone is not as frozen as we are! It looks beautiful outside but quite scary to drive/walk on....we have to be very careful but I guess that's all a part of winter right?! The sad part....it's not OFFICIALLY winter yet so I'm thinking we're in for a rough season!!!

My card is featuring the sketch and color challenges from SCS. I had a lot of fun putting it together especially experimenting with this color combo since it's not something I would normally use but hey, that's why they're called challenges!!!

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday and stay warm if you're in wintery places. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Teacher Non-Christmassy Gifts

TGIF!!!
We're in the midst of the after effects of an ice storm right now....no fun at all!!!!!!! I hope you all are keeping safe and completely warm!!

These clear pails are for my younger one's teachers. I filled them with different types of chocolate and a mini candle in a jar. It also fits with yesterday's challenge on SCS to make a last minute gift....I do believe I achieved that part with no problem! I didn't want to make these too Christmassy so instead of using my X-mas rub-ons, I used my retired Love & Happiness ones and Holiday Treasures dsp. The paper is beautiful and I think it's pretty versatile as it lends itself to more than one Holiday--gotta love that! I also made a couple of snow globe ornaments to hang off the handle instead of ribbon. I think this is just more appealing in this case than a bunch of ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and take care!!!

Friend to Friend

Good Morning!
Another sneak peek for ya!! I love the new punch and the dsp is ROCKIN'!!! This is also a Featured Stamper Challenge card over on SCS. Here is the card I chose to case. Why did I pick that one? The layout ROCKS of course!!!! You'll see that trend with me, I LOVE sketches so a lot of my creations will feature either my own or a fun challenge that I'll happily share with you.

Love You Much Preview

Hello again!!!
This card is a preview of things to come from the new SU! catty in January. Isn't this set cute? I love the new Candy Lane DSP and the coordinating Heart punch is awesome too!! This is one of the cool things about being a SU! Demo...we get to have our new goodies & play with them before anyone else---sort of like teasing you a bit LOL!!! I can't wait to see what else is in store for us with the new catty release...I'm too excited!!!

My card also features the sketch from OCC. They have challenges every Saturday so if you have time, check them out and participate!

Downline Gifts

Early Morning Hello!!!
Well, this is what I've been working on for my downline. I made 3 boxes with the set of cards pictured above. I didn't over embellish or add sentiments because everyone's taste is a bit different and it gives them a chance to make them they're own.

They're also getting a little tin with some lotion, lip gloss & candy....I hope they enjoy my little gift to them. Just my way of showing my appreciation for having an awesome team!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!

Great Dreams Sketch

Happy Tuesday!
I didn't get to finish my special projects that I was working on so I'll be attempting to do that today and hopefully post the pic soon!

My card is featuring another sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You and I think it totally rocks!! Aside from having to choose which colors, it came together soo easy...gotta love it when that happens!!!

I need to start fixing dinner, do laundry and work on my projects.....geez; I'd rather just stamp all day LOL!! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great rest of the day and try to stay warm!!!

Mass Production Christmas Cards

Happy Monday!!
Today will be a busy day for me and I'm working on something special so I thought I'd give you a peek at some of my mass produced Christmas cards....sorry about the photos---I tried real hard to get them crystal clear.

Fun, simple and sweet....those are my key ingredients to making a LOT of cards. I picked a couple of *fun* layouts, used a jumbo wheel or DSP for *simple* stamping, added a few *sweet* embellishments & punched out pieces and I'm all done!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day. I'm off to finish working on my special projects and get ready for our downline Christmas party.
