Mercy's Sketch......

Happy Hump Day Everyone!
My post for today is featuring Mercy's sketch....so glad that she's back with her awesome sketches & the color challenge from Tuesday Morning Sketches to use Elegant Eggplant, Kraft & Certainly Celery. How fun to be able to combine different challenges on one card so that you're not totally behind LOL!

I decided to ink up my A Kind Word ss for these challenges. This set has turned out to be one of those that once I got it.....I barely inked it up! So, I've vowed to use it a bit more to justify my purchase!!! I really love the spotlighting technique and I thought these cute girls would be perfect for it---turns out I was right. I love how she's highlighted and I'm just excited that I used an *unloved* set to make something pretty!

I'm off to do more laundry before it piles up again......DH cooked so I'm off the hook for that duty LOL! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!
TTFN,
Hugs,

Supplies:
A Kind Word ss; Kraft, Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery & Whisper White cs; Basic Black & Whisper White ink; Big Shot; SU! Background Texture Plate; Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon; SU! Markers; Circle Punches & Eyelet Border Punch

  4. Great job on the spotlight technique. It is the perfect thing to use on an image that is intimidating to color. Fabulous idea, I will have to try it!

  13. You're right, the spotlight technique works well on this stamp. I love the color combo and I really like how you didn't color the rest of her in, only the spotlighted part.
    Fab ribbon accent too!
