Good Morning & Happy Monday Everyone!!!!!
I am so very happy to be creating again & actually posting a stamping project for you this morning!!!!! I finally have everything put away in their proper places where I can find them when I need to & that simple fact made working on my card soooo much easier!!!
Speaking of my lil' creation; my project for today is for a blog group that I belong to called the Crafty Gals. Melina is hosting this month & her challenge was for us to make a Holiday/Christmas card with the #3 in mind. Don't worry, if you're confused; I'll explain: make a Holiday card with at least 3 layers not counting the base piece; use 3 images or a stamp with 3 images on it; don't use more than 3 embellishments on your card.....that was extremely hard for me because those corners are screaming for some attention LOL!!! Last but not least; we couldn't put a sentiment on the front....it had to be on the inside.
Now that you understand the rules; let's move on to what I used to make this card: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive & Early Espresso cardstock for my base colors; Letters to Santa DSP & coordinating Quick Accents; Merry & Type stampset and SU! Rhinestone jewels. I finished off my creation by rounding 3 of the corners for my main image panel & sponging the edges. I had an afterthought of adding Dazzling Details to my ornaments & it was going great until the ink started running!!!!! Oh well; I hope that whoever receives this card enjoys it anyway as well as all the ladies in our group: Athina Melina Barb Carolina RoRo Lee Tracie Diane Patty Lela Heather
Please be sure to stop by & leave all the ladies some love & I hope you enjoy our Holiday cards!!!!! Well, I really need to get crackin' on the rest of my Christmas cards so I'm off to work! Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!!!
