Mojo Sketch Meets Mocha Morning DSP

Good Morning & Happy Friday Everyone!
We're starting off with a wet weekend but that's ok....the grass really needed it!!

My post for today is featuring the Mojo sketch using Creative Elements & Mocha Morning Specialty DSP.  I stamped the flower several times & cut it out to make it more dimensional.  I spritzed my flower with Vanilla Smooch Spritz---LOVE that stuff!---and finished assembling my creation.  Once again my oldest son complimented my work---what a Sweetheart!  I'm really going to miss him when he leaves!!!

Creative Elements Sketch Card

Good Afternoon My Friends!

Sorry about the late post but that's what happens when my DH comes home in the middle of *MY TIME* LOL!!

My project for today is using one of the new stampsets I bought from the new catalog called Creative Elements.  I think this set is beautiful & quite elegant as my oldest son pointed out when he looked at my creation....gotta LOVE him for that compliment right?!!  I also used Mocha Morning Specialty DSP from the new catty---all I can say is WOW!  This DSP is gorgeous in person & the flocking pieces are extra special!!!  I mean you do have a few extra flecks on your creation but who cares when the paper is so beautiful & makes your project look totally awesome LOL!! 

I needed a bit more inspiration to get me going so after oogling this week's sketch from SCS; I decided to go with it & I can't begin to tell you how easy it was to put this baby together.....it's great for using just a lil' bit of your fave hoard--I mean DSP!  Well, I need to get back to my DH before he starts to pout so that's it for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!!!

Good Monday Morning Friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....mine was very relaxing & I truly enjoyed my family time!!

Today's card is supposed to have more of a *vintage feel* to it but I'm not completely sure of my vintage style yet.  Now don't get me wrong; I do LOVE the final look of my creation & I think I worked with the colors of the DSP I used very well too....I guess I'm just my own worst critic!!  My only wish is that you enjoy it!!!

I'm off to do laundry, clean my house & stamp....maybe not entirely in that order but at least it'll all get done LOL!  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!!

Good Saturday Morning!!!!

I think I'm finally recovering from my trip.....I feel a LOT more rested & I'm caught up on all my normal duties here @ home so I'm looking forward to actually creating something this weekend to share with you next week!!

The pics I'm showing you today are of the Make & Takes we did @ Convention, an awesome display that rocked my world & last but not least; the pic of me meeting Heather Klump in person!!!!!  I've known Heather for YEARS but we've never actually met.....she was one of my *pretend friends* as my kiddos put it but not anymore LOL!!!  It was so nice talking with her & finding out just how much we have in common like our Military service---we were both stationed @ Fort Jackson, South Carolina at the same time....how COOL is that?!!  We were even at the airport together coming home----she's seen a side of me that most of you NEVER will LOL---but the giggles & extreme laughter was soooo much fun & it's a time that I will treasure forever!!!

Awesome Convention Inspiration!

Good Morning & Happy Thursday Friends!

I'm sharing more of some of the AWESOME displays that caught my eye @ Convention!  We have some seriously talented SU! demos that put a TON of work in creating the displays for us to oogle over last week!  I was very impressed with the works of art that I saw as was everyone around me taking photos....I will definitely re-make the Imagine frame a bit later & will post pics of it when I'm done :-)

I also did my 5 year walk across stage last Saturday afternoon!  How exciting to be up there in front of thousands of people shining in my 'lil moment LOL!  I can hardly wait for my 10 year walk & any other accomplishments I achieve in my SU! career!  I want to send out a BIG thanks to my girlfriends for taking the pics & cheering me on like they did....you guys are awesome & it was great seeing you again!!!

Opening Day of Convention 2011

Good Afternoon Friends!
I am home from Salt Lake City & trying to recover from  nonstop FUN hanging with my girlfriends!!!!  We had a BLAST & now I want to take the time to really share my experience with all of you.

Today's post is all about the start of Convention.  I thought the theme was awesome, the dancers delighted us and got us *grooving* & last but certainly not least....the AWE inspiring projects they shared on Main Stage from the upcoming Holiday Mini were just DROP DEAD GORGEOUS---don't you agree?!!!  I can't wait to pre-order so I can make some fun things to share with you (that's one of the perks of being a SU! demo & if you're interested in joining my team--please contact me @ happyscrapper2@hotmail.com )

Fancy Full Swap Card....sample #2

Good Morning & Happy Hump Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday weekend!  Mine was nice & relaxing....just like I LOVE my Holidays to be!!!

My post for today is just another example of the same swap card for the Fancy Full Swap that I'm in.  I just changed the colors & used rhinestones instead of pearls.  It's very shimmery in real life but you can't tell from the photo--bummer!

Fancy Full Swap Card....sample 1

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

My post for today is showing off my swap samples for....well; just like the title says LOL!!!  I made 20 of these & then I moved on to another color combo but that's for another post!  Our cards are supposed to take just a bit longer to make than your *ordinary* creation.....mine utilizes the Big Shot; Shimmer Mist & the Color Spritzer Tool.  I think I just about nailed the challenge but I'm considering adding a butterfly to the right corner.  You should know me by now---one of my cards just isn't complete without texture & a butterfly!!!  

I'm off to cut more cardstock for some *general* swaps!  In case you're wondering or just don't know....general swapping is when we walk around the convention center & just swap like CRAZY!  The swaps that I've shown you so far have been for organized swaps that I joined & I'm getting really excited for my lil' vacation!!  Thanks so much for stopping by & I hope you have a great rest of the weekend!
