I chose the adorable plushie pictured above as my inspiration.  The colors were a challenge for me so I tried to keep the layout as simple as possible. Halloween Goodies....

Happy Thursday Everyone!
My post for today is a little sampling of what we did for our Halloween Stamp Camp.  Why did I say a little sampling you ask?  I shipped off some of the other things that we made for my Secret Sister & didn't take a picture before I did---shame on me but good in the sense that she doesn't get to *spy* on her goodies before she gets them!!  We had a great time & I'm looking forward to our next get together!

I'm still getting the hang of this watermark thingy so bear with me for a bit.  You may see it change a few times before I'm totally happy with it LOL!  I have parent-teacher conferences today & my downline meeting tonight with my girls so I better get ready.  Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great rest of the day!

What's Been Keeping Me Busy.....

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

As you can see from the above photo, I was quite busy yesterday making the class treats for my younger 2 children.  I simplified this project by omiting the ribbon and just using dimensionals on my stamped images & I attached them to the tubes with dimensionals too.  I'm really glad I thought of that because it would've taken even longer if I had used the ribbon & linen thread to hang my punched sentiment.  I did enjoy putting these together and I hope their classmates enjoy the candy inside!

I have 2 class parties today so I better get a move on to make sure everything is in order before they start.  If you guessed that I'm the coordinator for their classes, you're correct & I must be crazy to take this on but they didn't have anyone else so I stepped up to the plate.  I'm looking forward to having a great time today!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!

It's Been a ROUGH Week.....

Good Monday Morning My Friends!
I'm so happy to announce today that I am finally back to my old self!  My Dr. diagnosed me with the flu---not any unnatural strain....just the seasonal flu---& bronchitis.  He literally looked at me and said "you're so infected right now & I need to immediately get you on antibiotics!"  They worked wonders & I feel so much better.  I don't ever want that bug again but now that I'm working outside my home, I'll probably get it again next year until my system gets used to being around *other* people---according to him anyway!  Needless to say that I missed an entire week of work & I'm totally behind in other things but I'm going to take my time getting caught up.  I haven't stamped in so long that I'm thinking I may have forgot how LOL but I do have some Christmas cards that I did before I got sick.  I'll start posting those tomorrow for you to enjoy.

I have the flu...

Good Morning,
I wish I could say that I was having a great day but I really feel bad right now.  I have the flu, Brandon was diagnosed with Bronchitis--put on antibiotics, an inhaler to help with the wheezing & he's back in school; Reggie had a minor touch of the flu but now he's fine & back in school.  Poor me, I get the flu shot because it's a requirement for my job and I get the sickest in the house!!  Bianca is still 100% healthy and I'm hoping it stays that way.

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know what's going on.....I'm going back to bed!  I hope to be feeling much better soon.

Change of plans....

I'm sorry to have to tell you all that there will not be a post today.  I have 2 children down & we're really battling with Brandon to get him better.  Reggie is feeling a bit better but Brandon seems to be getting worse.  I'll post again when we know more about his condition.

Good Evening Everyone!
I'm posting to let you know that I'm OK but I'm dealing with a sick child amongst other things!  Lil' Reg was sent home by the nurse from school yesterday with a fever, body aches & slight cough.  He's MISERABLE & I cannot begin to tell you how frustrated I am already!!!!!  I also had class on Monday, I need to get my order together for supplies that I need to replenish & I'm working on wedding invitations for my neighbor so needless to say that my hands are quite full right now!

Fantasy Birthday Box

Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I'm showing off a Fantasy Box I received from my girlfriend Kathy for my birthday.  Isn't it FABULOUS?!!  Thank you so much Kathy...I love it!!!  I have never made one of these myself but leave it to her to show me up & I'm the SU! Demo LOL!!!  You've probably noticed that there are some empty shelves......Paydays are my fave candy sooo....they're all gone now!!

Today is going to be another busy sort of day.....I'm babysitting, running some errands with 4 children in tow, & I'm working for a few hours this afternoon---I guess I'm just CRAZY!!!  I'm off to make sure my children are ready so we can start running.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!

Honor Student....

Good Morning & Happy Thursday Everyone!
My post for today is dedicated to my oldest son Reginald.  He was inducted into the National Art Honor Society last night!!!  We are so very proud of him & his talent.  We really enjoyed ourselves @ his ceremony & I was overjoyed to hear all the wonderful things his teacher had to say about him.  It really makes me feel good to know that all  my preachings has paid off so far & I pray that he continues to do well!

I'm off to finish up another batch of cards & get them mailed off before going to work---that sounds weird LOL!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!!

Gift From Teresa

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Isn't this the cutest ensemble?!! I received this awesome set from my downline/girlfriend Teresa for my birthday! She is so very talented and an amazing person....I'm so fortunate to have her in my group & blessed to have her as my friend!!

I LOVE the frame she altered (I LOVE everything she made!!!)....the embellishments are just too cute! She's such an enabler using the Build-a-Bear line to make my gifts---I'm thinking that I need this stuff now after seeing it all in person! I can feel my wallet becoming a bit lighter already LOL!!

Apologies.....

Oh my Gosh!!!
I seriously need to apologize to all my readers! My life has been a whirlwind for the last couple of weeks and I'm desperately trying to find a balance!!!!!

I have been creating and I want to share my work with you but not without giving credit to Stampin' Up! first. Most of you may know that posting pics on your blog using SU!'s images requires a blurb across the photo saying "images copyright SU!", well; with my new pc I have a brand new program that I just haven't had the time to actually figure out yet! I LOVED the old program on my other pc that crashed---just type right over the pic and you're done....well, this program is NOTHING like that!!! I did find a tutorial about making a watermark and I'll be working on that today after I get dinner in the crockpot so I can start sharing things that I've made!!

In the meantime, I've received some fab swaps & other goodies in the mail that I'll be sharing with you starting tomorrow. I hope you don't mind me doing this while I work things out so I can get back to posting on a regular basis. I soooo miss blogging and visiting my *friends* on a daily basis.......I haven't participated in ANY challenges either---I feel so lost LOL! But on a high note, I have my Halloween Class all worked out and ready to go! Yaaay Me!!!
