Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend....mine was productive to say the least!!
My younger 2 children wanted to make treats for their classmates this year and after discussing our options we settled upon pillow boxes stuffed with Laffy Taffy. I went through my retired designer papers, pulled out the Big Shot, stamps & ink and let them have at it! They had so much fun using the Big Shot & folding the pillow boxes....I didn't help at all either!!! I let them do everything...even the stamping and punching out the tags. I supervised from a distance---they were too busy talking and laughing so I wasn't worried about anything! They have watched me use that baby a few dozen times and have asked more questions than anyone I've ever met in my life LOL!! I'm so happy that they enjoyed making these treats & now it's time to get crackin' on the teacher gifts. Brandon & Bianca will be decorating mailboxes.....can't wait to see how they come out!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great rest of the day!
TTFN,
Hugs,
Fabulous! Look who they had for a teacher? You got it right - teach 'em while they're young!!!!
ReplyDeleteColor me impressed, they did an excellent job! Can't wait to see the mailboxes!
ReplyDeleteThe kids are experts already! Very creative and so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet!! What a cute idea!! :) TFS!
ReplyDeleteHey there! I have this pillow die, but I don't have the Big Shot yet. I found that the creases didn't work that well with the cuttlebug. Did you have any problems using it with the Big Shot? I am just waiting for the finances to get the Big Shot.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my daughter (6 years old) participates with challenges on a challenge blog for kid's ages 16 and under. You should check it out...
